Cookies and Gingerbread Making

Friday the girls and I made cookies with my mom. We did sugar Christmas cookies and gingerbread men cookies with Hersey Candy Cane metaled on them. Ali had made the gingerbread cookies before so it was in her memory. The girls had a lot of fun making them and we talk about Ali while doing them.

Sunday we made Gingerbread house's with Abby, Christen, and Kim. We had stay at their house after Christmas at Aunt Beth's, I'll have those pictures later.

We had a great time being with Kim and the girls watch some Christmas movies. Abby and the girls had a dance party. Abby played a lot of games with them. Christen couldn't do a lot with them because she had foot surgery and can't be on her foot for 3 months. So they loved on her a lot.

The girls thought the gingerbread houses were pretty neat and fun to make. Alyssa's fell apart on the way home but we super glued back together. Those things are a lot to keep together then you think they would be.

I love being at Kim's so many great memories there from when we were younger we'd go there 2 weeks over the summer.

Little ladies

My little girls are becoming little ladies.

Alyssa is into doing her all on her own all the time. Which I'm fine with but sometimes it looks a little crazy, but I just let it go. She is growing up and is becoming more independent. I know that in the long run it will have paid off.In this hair style she had 20 bobbie pins. She also is taking showers now... no more baths. It didn't like it at first but now she loves it and can't wait to shower.

Chastity is also taking showers, she loved from the start and would stay in there for hours if I'd let her. And as soon as she gets out she runs to the corn stove and sits there for 15 minutes. She says she doesn't need a towel because the stove drys her and her hair.

I'm so happy that I have two very Independent little ladies.

Thanksgiving 09

Thanksgiving was wonderful. So glad to be able to be with all the family.
On Thanksgiving day we celebrated with the whole Eash family at our house. I cook my first turkey and it turned out GREAT. It was a lot easier then I thought it would be.
The girls were so excited to be having a party at our house, (that's what they called Thanksgiving.)
Then on Saturday we went to Heather and Micheal's for the Morgan's side Thanksgiving. And we also celebrate Elliot's birthday. I can't believe that she is going to be TWO this week. She has grown so much in a year. She is so lovey with Chad and plays great with the girls.
I'm so thankful that we have such a close family and that we are all able to be together. We've had some hard times, but God has also blessed us.

Pre School Sunday 09'

Yesterday was Pre School Sunday at the church were the girls attend. We had a little photo shoot at home before done by Daddy. The girls loved all the pictures we were taking of them. And they loved getting up in front of everyone and singing their hearts out. After service we go down to their class room for cookies punch, and talk with the other families.

My birthday was wonderful this year. Ya I'm a little late on this post. My birthday was October 22.
Thank you to all who sent emails, phone calls, comments, birthday cards, gifts, and taking me out.
Thursday the 22:
The girls and I went out to lunch together. Something that we don't do a lot but Alyssa said it was my birthday and I shouldn't have to cook for her and Chastity.
Then Chad took me out to dinner at my favorite place Hacienda. I love their chips and salsa, the drink, and mudslide. I hadn't had one of those in a long time and Chad had never had one so we got that instead of the birthday cake. He and the girls got me a colts sweatshirt, waffle/sandwich maker, beautiful cards, and a gift card to Target. I was so happy with all my gifts. I've been wanting a waffle maker for a long time now. The girls want waffles every morning because you can make normal waffles or a duck and cow shape waffles. So I have got a lot of use out of it already.
Saturday 24:
A few of us went out and had a few drinks to celebrate my Birthday more. I'm not a big drinker at all, but when everyone knows it's your Birthday the drinks just keep on coming. So I had more then normal for me. It was nice just to have fun and be with family and close friends.
