Cutting Alyssa's hair off.

Alyssa's hair has been cut. It now will be mailed to LOCKS OF LOVE in MEMORY of AUNTIE ALI. Alyssa cried the whole it Kayla cut her hair. Not what I thought she do, but hey shes my emotional one. Now that it's over she loves the way it looks and she is so happy that a boy or girl will get here hair. And she knows that Auntie Ali is proud of herself also. It's really hard to put into words how great it feels to know that you are helping someone out. And also to know that your daughter was so willing to grow her hair out and cut it off. "Its just hair"
I can't wait to cut mine!!!!

I'm a Nanny

Some of you know that I started working out of the home last week. After being a stay at home mom for five years I now am a nanny for quadruplet boys Henry, Joe,Sam and Tommy. Tommy has nurse with him at all times but I will still help with him if needed. So I'll be doing the basic Feedings, changing dipars, playing, and other household duties. Kirstin is very organized which makes it so easy. I'm so glad that Kristin and Tim found me and I found them. They are wonderful people and I have a lot of respect for them. It's hard to be a parent but to be parent's to four boys that were born early and have been through a lot in their almost first year of life. I knew when I meant Kristin for the first time I could tell that the boys were so happy and they have great people caring for them.
It's going to great I'll work three or four days a week 6 hours a day give or take. So on some days I can still take the girls to school and pick them up. And not be working everyday. My first week went really well and i am now onto week two.

Mr. Flu

For the past week and a half the girls and I have been sick. First it started with Chastity getting an sinus infection on Monday. Then Monday night through Wednesday Alyssa had the flu. It was nasty poor thing. Then Chastity got a ear infection on Thursday. Alyssa got a sinus infection on Friday and by Saturday she had a double ear infection. I thought after awhile that Alyssa had mono cause she was so weak and all she wanted to do was sleep.
Then me thinking I'm so glad I haven't got sick nope Sunday I got the flu and by today I still have a touch of it. With Alyssa and I both you feel better but you feel nausea's for days on end and that's how I'm feeling now. I didn't watch a minute of the super bowl. I was so out of it. When I get sick throwing up I have to take phenorgen or I won't stop and then I'm off to the ER to where I have to stay for a few days. Those pills have been life savers for me. So glad that Chad was home so he could be with the girls. And then my Dad help this week while Chad was at work.
Today was the first time I left the house and it was to take Chastity to school and I came home and laid down after cause I'm so weak. I haven't had a real meal since Friday and I'm not even hungry at all.

6 year molers

I took Alyssa to the dentist yesterday for her 6 month cleaning. And as they were checking her teeth they confirmed that her 6 year molers had came all the way through. When we had went in last time they had just started to come through the gum's some. The dentist said it was really early but not a big deal just be more work for us to keep them clean.
So we have decided to put sealants on them to keep them safe. Not that she has a problem brushing her teeth but I rather be safe. We've been there when little kids are getting their cavities done and I don't want to put Alyssa through that.
Alyssa is so excited that she has her BIG GIRL teeth. She loves going to the dentist now and sitting in the chair all by herself. When we first started going she would cry the whole time we were there. But the last two times we've went there have been no tears.

Chastity's half Birthday

Because Chastity's birthday is in the summer and there not in school they celebrate half birthdays. So today we took in home made Chocolate chip cookies and milk for all the kids in her class. She was so excited about all of it. I didn't get to take any pictures of her making them because she made them with my mom. I love getting to go to school with the girls and seeing how well they are when I'm not around and how they act towards the other kids.
She choose to have birthday spankings and not hugs. Which i thought was funny!!
And for her gift she pick a little tea set that her and Alyssa haven't stop playing since we got home.

Christopher Home

Christopher came home , it was great to see him. He didn't get to be here for Christmas so we were all glad he made it home this week. He's been in Washington for a while now but soon will be going back to "Y" (Hawaii) that's what the girls call it.
There were a lot of laughs, playing with the girls, and taking pictures. All the pictures that were taken were by Alyssa or Chastity. They both are into taking pictures. Which makes me happy, since I'm a picture freak.

 

Lyam James

 

I got to see baby Lyam today. He is so PREFECT, it felt so good to hold a little one. I love to hear babies cry when there so little, but the only way to get Lyam to cry was to mess with him. He wouldn't even cry when he was hungry he'd just make little sounds.

Seems so weird to have a little boy in the family.... it only took 18 years.

Both Amanda and Jamie are doing great.
