Pumpkin Carving

We carved pumpkins Thursday after school. It was so nice out so we did them outside. Chastity wouldn't clean hers out so Alyssa did hers and Chastity's. Are pumpkins are a little green but that's cause there home grown from my brothers garden. Not that we care if there a little green, we still had fun! Chastity's is the cat and Alyssa's is the dog. Alyssa even help with the carving.
Yesterday was Chastity fall party at school so she got to dress up. And today was Alyssa's fall party. They came home with tons of candy.

Darrick A Wright

Darrick and sister Erica

My cousin Darrick was killed in a car accident early Sunday morning. He was only 19 years old and was in the Air Force. He had his head on his shoulders and was going in the right direction. This is very hard and all the family are very stunned. As of right now we don't have a lot of information because of the investigation.
I have added the article from the newspaper in Dover.

DOVER -- Three people, including two active-duty airmen at Dover Air Force Base, died in a single-car crash early Sunday morning in west Dover.
According to Dover police, the men were traveling west on Hazlettville Road (Del. 15) in a 2001 Ford Mustang at a high rate of speed. As it passed through the Mifflin Road intersection, the car ran off the north side of the road, struck a road sign, then ran into a utility pole. All three victims were ejected from the car.

The victims were identified as Airman Darrick Wright, 19,
and Airman First Class Sean McDowell, 24, both of Dover Air Force Base,
and Jorma Reeser, 22, of Dover.

Pending the results of tests being conducted by the state medical examiner's office, Counselman said he could not say who was driving the car or whether alcohol played a role in the crash. Two of the victims were pronounced dead at the scene. The third was pronounced dead at Kent General Hospital in Dover.Lt. Brian Maguire, DAFB spokesman, confirmed Monday that Wright and McDowell were stationed at the base. He said base officials had sent a team of their own to inspect the crash site.

"Yes, we had personnel there at the scene as part of a safety investigation," he said, adding that he was conferring with the base's legal department to determine what other information might be released.

Alyssa's 5th bithday party

We had Alyssa's birthday party yesterday. She wanted me to make her a pony cake so i did. It was a lot harder then I thought it would be. But she loved it so it made me happy. She got so many nice things and money that she wants to put back and save it. This was the first year she invited friends from school. So she was so excited for all of her family and friends to be together. Thank you for coming out and spending the day with us. Alyssa didn't want to go to bed last night because she wanted to play w/ all her new gifts.

Field Trip to Kercher's

On Thursday the girls had a field trip to kercher's orchard. They got to go on a hay ride, pick a pumpkin, and pick an apple. The weather was a little cool but we still had fun. It made the ending of the long hard week nice.
Alyssa has been sick all week with allergies, sinus infection, and asthma. Once we went to the doc with just talking the medcines one time she wasn't couching her head off. She was diagnosed with asthma last week. When she gets colds she coughs and then it really makes the asthma act up.I felt so bad at one point she was couching ever 12 seconds. And she wasn't sleeping and either was I. For three days now she has slept 12 hours plus. I'm hopping that we have it all under control now.

Alyssa's is FIVE

Our little Alyssa turned five years old yesterday. How time has gone by so fast. In the past five years she has learned to walk, talk, got a little sister, been and fished Pre-school, lost a wonderful Auntie, lost a grandma, learned to write her full name, started Pre-K, made friends, and a lot more. It's hard to believe that she has done and learned so many things.
We started our day with chocolate pancakes with bacon and eggs. Opened gifts, that Daddy pick out by himself. Then we watch her new movie has a family. Played outside, made brownies. Then we made her favorite meal beef and noodles with mashed potatoes and corn. And then she got too eat a brownie after dinner. These were all the things she wanted to do today so we did them.
She also got a card from Great Na-Na with TEN dollars, she thought that was so cool. Phone call where my mom sang to her and Chad's mom sent her a video text singing to her. She had a smile on her face all day long.
I still can hear Chad's voice when I called him at work the day I went into labor. I called him and said it's time...what do you mean it's time. Because I was suppose to be induced two days later.
It's funny because Chastity was so into her pancake she couldn't but it down but still sang to her sister.

Birthday Party @ School

Today we celebrated Alyssa's 5th Birthday at school. She came up with what we were going to take in for snack. Strawberry cupcakes with vanilla frosting with a Hershey kiss inside and oh ya and of course sprinkles. . All the kids loved them, it made Alyssa really happy. She got really shy when we sang to her. Then they played games with the ParaSuite. And she pick a little bunny out of the birthday box.
